The town also has a historic center, a spa park, and lots of hiking trails, offering plenty of opportunities for recreation and attracting many visitors each year thanks to its reputation beyond the region.

The property is located at Lahnstraße 13–15 in the immediate vicinity of the idyllic Emsbach stream and is bordered to the south by a large green space. To the north, it borders a municipal building yard on the street side. The building area is designated as a mixed-use area.
